Dr. Matt Mealiffe, a board certified Internal Medicine and Clinical Genetics physician, began writing at CancerAndYourGenes.com in 2007. Originally just an occasional outlet for sharing cancer genetics expertise, CancerAndYourGenes is now part of a broader effort at Evinome, LLC to create useful educational tools to help people understand issues related to inherited cancer risk.
About Dr. Mealiffe
Dr. Matt Mealiffe, a board certified Internal Medicine and Clinical Genetics physician, began writing at CancerAndYourGenes in 2007.
He received his undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences from Stanford University and his M.D. from the Yale University School of Medicine. Subsequently, he did his postgraduate training in Internal Medicine and Clinical Genetics at the University of Washington.
Following several years at the University of Washington as an attending physician and faculty member, he moved to the San Francisco Bay Area and took a clinical research position in the biotechnology industry.
Currently, he is founder and CEO of Evinome, LLC.
